Inspired by Tom Ford Oud Wood and made in Australia, our Oud Laundry Wash is free from dyes, bleaches, parabens and optical brighteners, and is vegan and cruelty-free.

Inspired by Tom Ford Oud Wood, Oud is a fresh, earthy take on a classic woody scent. Bright bergamot and neroli open with a crisp citrus lift, warmed by pepper and cardamom, before settling into smooth patchouli and cedarwood with a grounded, mossy finish.

It's bold without being heavy, fresh without being sharp, and it lingers on your sheets, towels and clothes long after the wash. Refined, grounding and quietly powerful.

How to Use

Laundry Wash:

Small Loads: Use 30ml of laundry liquid

Medium/Large Loads: Use 50–60ml of laundry liquid

Heavily Soiled Clothes: Use up to 100ml

Front Loaders: Add laundry liquid to the detergent compartment of your drawer, following the dosage guidelines above.

Top Loaders: For best results, add the detergent directly into the drum before adding clothes, following the same dosage guidelines above. Top loaders generally use more water than front loaders, so you may wish to use the higher end of the recommended amount for large or heavily soiled loads.

Our formula is designed to deliver a thorough clean and long-lasting fragrance in every wash. Each 750ml bottle provides up to 25 washes (based on a 30ml small-load dose).

For best results, always refer to the dosage instructions on your Laundry Talk bottle. Amounts may vary depending on fabric type, load size, and soil level.

Ingredients

Laundry Wash:
<5% non-ionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, perfumes (contains hexyl cinnamal, linalool, benzyl salicylate, coumarin, limonene), preservation agents (contains sodium benzoate, benzalkonium chloride).

Free from phosphates, optical brighteners, and harsh bleaches. Infused with premium fragrance inspired by fine perfumery.

Softener:
<5% non-ionic surfactants, anionic surfactants, perfumes (contains hexyl cinnamal, limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate), preservation agents (contains phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate, benzalkonium chloride).

Leaves fabrics soft, static-free and beautifully scented.

Thanks for your feedback! The lighter consistency of our formula is intentional, as it helps the fragrance disperse and perform throughout the wash.

Scent is also incredibly subjective, so we’d genuinely love to know what your ideal scent profile is and what you were hoping for from this one. We’re always listening and working towards creating something for everyone. 🤍

Mix it up, sugary vanilla and oud

Thankfully there was a little hiccup with my order but because of the mix up, one of the lovely staff at Laundry talk advised me on mixing my oud and vanilla sugar. The caramel vanilla scent just wafts through the entire home but add your vanilla softener to the oud wash and it takes the chore out of laundry. I'm not a fan of vanilla unless it's in my cakes but now I'm glad to say, vanilla/sugar/caramel smells amazing on my clothes. But I'd advise using the clothes line to keep the fragrance strong...once it goes in the dryer, it sorta dulls the scent but it's still there, just stronger if you air dry. The oud is just a little more earthy and right up my alley. Both scents are unlike anything on the market currently.

You're also spot on about air drying. Hanging your washing on the line helps preserve the fragrance beautifully, while the heat from a dryer can soften the scent a little.

This product had no noticeable fragrance at all

This product had no noticeable fragrance at all. I love a beautiful smelling laundry product and this was not it. When I put my nose to the bottle I could barely smell anything, let alone in or after the wash. A complete waste of money.
